Gary Grainger is probably most well known for his work touring and recording with John Scofield! In the late 70s he opened for Earth, Wind and Fire with the group Pockets, he has also performed with Lionel Liston Smith, Dennis Chambers and George Duke just to name a few! When it came time for him to design his perfect touring and recording tool, he gave PRS a ring! After hitting the drawing board this amazing bass is what they came up with!

Specs! This bass is all original and in excellent condition. Gotoh PRS tuners. Nut width measures 1-3/4″. Maple neck with a depth of .85″ at the first fret and .90″ at the twelfth fret. 34″ scale length. Rosewood fingerboard with a 12″ radius. Birds inlay. The original 24 jumbo frets are in excellent condition. Mahogany body with a maple cap in a Black gold finish. Original two Grainger humbucker pick ups. Original wiring, push-pull volume pots make the pick ups active or passive, plus 3 band EQ. 18 volt preamp. PRS bridge with brass saddles. Comes with its original hard shell case. Weighs 9 pounds and 8.3 ounces.

When the pick ups are active you have a 3 band eq! You can pretty much dial in any sound you’re going for! Phenomenal bass capable of what ever you can throw at it!
