A 1954 Martin 00-18 in Natural finish.
Vintage Martin guitars are the standard against which modern acoustic guitars are measured, and for good reason. Of course, vintage Martin dreadnoughts are ubiquitous in Bluegrass and country music circles, but their smaller bodied counterparts are very versatile. These smaller body guitars have great projection but with a more balanced sound than a dreadnought. Perfect for either finger-style or strummed with a pick.
This particular 00-18 from 1954 sounds heavenly. It is entirely original except for a replaced nut and saddle, a few professionally repaired cracks, a neck set, and a refret. The neck set was recently performed by our talented friends at Portland Fretworks who are experts in vintage Martin repair and restoration. This 68 year old guitar is now playing perfectly and will do so for decades to come. Comes with a period soft shell case. This one is a good'un, folks.
