Beyond its cool body shape, super light weight, and unique crushed velvet-esque maroon pearloid "MOTS" finish, this rare vintage guitar also held a sweet place in history. Largely identical to the Supro models of the same era except with Dwight branding, this guitar began its life at Sunny Shields Music Studio in East St. Louis, Illinois, owned by Charles "Dwight" Shields. Mr. Shields used these Dwight branded guitars in lessons with his students at the Studio before they were sold. Over 60 years later, this guitar is still in pretty good shape for its age and is a joy to play, especially for slide!

In Very Good Vintage condition with moderate wear for an instrument of this age, including light scratches, aging of parts and finish, edgewear, and other signs of normal handling and use.
