Up for sale is a 1963 Epiphone FT-45 Cortez Sunburst. Ive always felt that these early Epiphone acoustic guitars are a great sounding choice! We recently took this one in on trade from the previous owner and this one comes to us in very good condition. I would believe this one was played and loved gently at home. There are no cracks or breaks to speak of anywhere. Even the finish only shows minimal checking. Our tech knocked the setup out of the park and this one plays really great with only minimal fretwear present in the first few positions. If you have been looking for a vintage acoustic guitar you should consider this one!
Pro Setup in house and ships with an original chipboard case - worth mentioning that the original case is in bad shape and has a bad smell. We are happy to include a Thunder Road gig bag along with this one at no charge.
Weight: 3lbs. 15oz.
NOTE TO OUR VALUED CUSTOMERS:
We want you to be happy with your purchase and we try to represent the condition of all used and vintage guitars as accurately as possible in our listings. Every used guitar shows some signs of play wear and vintage models even more so. We call out all areas of damage or unusual wear, and describe the overall condition based upon what is "normal" for the age of the instrument. Expect to see minor dings, finish checking, or other evidence of normal use and aging which may not be captured by photography or explicitly mentioned in the listing.
We recognize that everyone has their own personal standard of what constitutes acceptable wear and tear. If play wear is especially critical for you, please contact us at the Shop for a complete in-hand description and to answer any questions you may have. Your satisfaction is of paramount importance to us.
