When it comes to acoustic 12-string guitars, we love the slot-head Martins from the late 60s. We see a lot of D-12-28 models with one piece Rosewood backs but the D-12-35 models are less common. The look of the 3-piece D-35 back is so cool, especially when it has Brazilian Rosewood in the center section as this one does.
This instrument is in Very Good Vintage condition with modest wear and tear and a bit of finish clouding. It also has a few repairs, namely a re-glued center seam and a repaired crack at the bass side of the fingerboard extension. The guitar has had a professional refret and neck reset at some point which is normal for Martins of this age.
Freshly set up in-house by our esteemed Guitar Tech, this 12-string is playing and sounding quite nice. Comes with hard shell case. If you're interested in buying this beautiful vintage instrument, feel free to call us at the Shop for an in-hand description and to answer any questions you may have.
