Description

Freshly set up in-house by our esteemed Guitar Tech, this 1970s Lyle 1802T is playable, if somewhat wonky, as student-level guitars from this era tend to be.  Despite its wear, it looks very nice with an attractive sunburst finish and a cool vintage vibe.  The headstock has a red sticker which says, "YES".  Could be an omen of good fortune, who knows?  Made in Japan.  Plenty of wear and tear, including chips, dings, scratches, and finish fading. as you would expect on a 50 year old instrument.  The pickups and electronics are functioning.

This guitar could be a fun project if you like tinkering with vintage guitars.  Note that the neck has a slight curve and the truss rod is maxed out.  Please call us at the shop and we'll be happy to answer any questions you may have before you purchase.  This guitar is being sold As-Is with no returns.

NOTE TO OUR VALUED CUSTOMERS:

We want you to be happy with your purchase and we try to represent the condition of all used and vintage products as accurately as possible in our listings.  Every used guitar shows some signs of play wear and vintage models even more so.  We call out all areas of damage or unusual wear, and describe the overall condition based upon what is "normal" for the age of the instrument.  Expect to see minor dings, finish checking, or other evidence of normal use and aging which may not be captured by photography or explicitly mentioned in the listing.

We recognize that everyone has their own personal standard of what constitutes acceptable wear and tear.  If play wear is especially critical for you, please contact us at the Shop for a complete in-hand description and to answer any questions you may have.  Your satisfaction is of paramount importance to us.
