Up for sale is a very cool 1983 Martin D-35 in Natural. What an absolute powerhouse the D-35 is and this one is no exception. This one features a 1-11/16th" nut, spruce top, Rosewood back and sides, and a 12th fret string height of .07" on the Treble side and .11" on the Bass side. The previous owner had Mike Lull's change the nut and saddle to a custom bone nut. There is also documentation of some binding repair on the body. According to the previous owner this one has had a neck reset but we do not have documentation of that. It should also be noted that this guitar has an LR Baggs Anthem pickup installed. Cosmetically this one is pretty good with some expected signs of play wear. Anyone on the hunt for a great vintage D-35 should really consider this one.
Pro Setup in house and ships with original hardshell case, paperwork documenting repairs, and original purchase receipt and warranty card.
Weight: 4lbs 15oz
NOTE TO OUR VALUED CUSTOMERS:
We want you to be happy with your purchase and we try to represent the condition of all used and vintage guitars as accurately as possible in our listings. Every used guitar shows some signs of play wear and vintage models even more so. We call out all areas of damage or unusual wear, and describe the overall condition based upon what is "normal" for the age of the instrument. Expect to see minor dings, finish checking, or other evidence of normal use and aging which may not be captured by photography or explicitly mentioned in the listing.
We recognize that everyone has their own personal standard of what constitutes acceptable wear and tear. If play wear is especially critical for you, please contact us at the Shop for a complete in-hand description and to answer any questions you may have. Your satisfaction is of paramount importance to us.
