Up for sale is a 2002 Gibson Tony Iommi SG in ebony. This one comes to us pretty clean less some minor pick guard scratches. There are just a couple of very minor cosmetic issues with this particular instrument. There are two approximately 1 inch finish cracks at the neck heel and small scratch on the neck around the 6th fret on the bass side. Other than that this guitar is really great. This one comes to you with its original hardshell case and a pro setup from our in house guitar tech. Weight: 7lbs. 9oz.
This rare, limited-edition USA-made instrument features a mahogany body and neck, an ebony fingerboard with Mother-of-Pearl cross inlays, and high-output Tony Iommi signature humbucker pickups. The guitar was designed in collaboration with Tony Iommi and includes features like an oversized headstock, an ABR-1 bridge, and Grover tuners, reflecting his personal preferences and distinctive playing style.
NOTE TO OUR VALUED CUSTOMERS:
We want you to be happy with your purchase and we try to represent the condition of all used and vintage guitars as accurately as possible in our listings. Every used guitar shows some signs of play wear and vintage models even more so. We call out all areas of damage or unusual wear, and describe the overall condition based upon what is "normal" for the age of the instrument. Expect to see minor dings, finish checking, or other evidence of normal use and aging which may not be captured by photography or explicitly mentioned in the listing.
We recognize that everyone has their own personal standard of what constitutes acceptable wear and tear. If play wear is especially critical for you, please contact us at the Shop for a complete in-hand description and to answer any questions you may have. Your satisfaction is of paramount importance to us.
