Up for sale is a 2009 Gibson SG Standard in Heritage Cherry. The 2009 Standard captures the iconic aesthetic of the late-1960s SGs, most notably featuring the large 5-ply, full-face black pickguard. The 490R/490T pickup combination is highly versatile, providing warm, articulate tones in the neck position and high output with biting treble in the bridge for driving overdrive and soaring leads. This one came to us from its previous owner in pretty good cosmetic conditions showing a handful of smaller dings and some light surface scratching. See photos for full cosmetic rundown. It should be noted that in the right light and angle you can see the remains of a removed sticker on the top of the guitar. That being said this guitar is a killer deal and totally rad. Scoop it up before someone else does!
Pro Setup in house and ships with its original hardshell case.
Weight: 6lbs. 11oz.
NOTE TO OUR VALUED CUSTOMERS:
We want you to be happy with your purchase and we try to represent the condition of all used and vintage guitars as accurately as possible in our listings. Every used guitar shows some signs of play wear and vintage models even more so. We call out all areas of damage or unusual wear, and describe the overall condition based upon what is "normal" for the age of the instrument. Expect to see minor dings, finish checking, or other evidence of normal use and aging which may not be captured by photography or explicitly mentioned in the listing.
We recognize that everyone has their own personal standard of what constitutes acceptable wear and tear. If play wear is especially critical for you, please contact us at the Shop for a complete in-hand description and to answer any questions you may have. Your satisfaction is of paramount importance to us.
