Features include an alder body, three Vintage Noiseless™ pickups, active mid-boost (25 db) and TBX circuits, special soft "V"-shaped neck, and blocked original vintage synchronized tremolo.

TBX and MDX:

TBX is a passive, stacked dual-gang potentiometer with a detent at position 5. From 5 to 10 it acts as a standard tone control, rolling off highs counterclockwise. From 0 to 5 it boosts treble, bass, and presence by reducing resistance via a high-pass/low-pass filter setup.  This design cuts either bass or treble relative to center (unlike standard tones that only cut treble), effectively emphasizing mids in some settings.

MBX is an active circuit replacing the second tone pot for up to 25dB gain centered around 500Hz. Turning clockwise engages the boost, adding midrange punch and compression to mimic humbucker-like solos from single-coils.  It also slightly boosts bass while cutting treble at higher settings, aiding clean and overdriven tones.
