Up for sale is a 2011 Gretsch G6134B '55 Black Penguin. Personally I feel that the '55 penguin is the best version, plus its discontinued so when they pop up its a rare occurrence. This one comes to us from the home of the previous owner in very good condition showing some expected swirling of the finish and minor signs of use and playwear. Shiny black guitars show every little bit of wear - all that being said this one is in very nice shape. Only some very minor fret wear is visible and nothing which effects playability. If you wanted a cool and unique Gretsch this might be the one for you! Save the Black Penguin!!!!
