For your consideration is an absolutely stunning 2012 Martin Custom Shop 00-42. From the premium grade 8 Adirondack spruce top and Cambodian rosewood back and sides to the Style 42/45 Paua pearl top and rosette border, just about every feature of this guitar adds something special. Other notable features include a 2-way adjustable truss rod and Bob Colosi fossilized bridge pins and end pin (the originals are included as well).
This guitar has been well taken care of, and is in Excellent condition for an instrument of its age. Some of the binding in the waist on the back was professionally re-glued by our trusted friends at Portland Fretworks, and there is a bit of very faint finish crazing on the top that blends in with the grain. Otherwise, it just shows the normal signs of light handling and use that are to be expected on a previously owned guitar.
Freshly inspected and set up in-house by our esteemed Guitar Tech.

NOTE TO OUR VALUED CUSTOMERS:
We want you to be happy with your purchase and we try to represent the condition of all used and vintage guitars as accurately as possible in our listings. Every used guitar shows some signs of play wear and vintage models even more so. We call out all areas of damage or unusual wear, and describe the overall condition based upon what is "normal" for the age of the instrument. Expect to see minor dings, finish checking, or other evidence of normal use and aging which may not be captured by photography or explicitly mentioned in the listing.
We recognize that everyone has their own personal standard of what constitutes acceptable wear and tear. If play wear is especially critical for you, please contact us to ask any questions you may have. Your satisfaction is of paramount importance to us.
