With this special Reserve series of S Style guitars, Scott Lentz Jr. personally selects the appointments — resulting in an instrument that will make your heart beat a little faster every time you pick it up and play. The Lentz JR Reserve guitar includes our very best, 25-year cabinet-aged woods, an uber-flamed neck with standard Brazilian rosewood fingerboard, standard one-piece ash body, three custom hand-wound pickups specially matched to the individual guitar (the bridge pickup is a specially designed dual-coil emulating lead pickup that delivers humbucker tone and power without the compression), and a profusion of parts — including bridge, saddles, strap buttons, lacquered nitrate pickguard, pickguard shield, trem plate, and more — all custom made. We exclusively use NOS paper-in-oil capacitors (hermetically sealed) with potentiometer matching. The Lentz JR Reserve guitar works just as well at low volumes as it does onstage at full tilt, and it will quickly become an extension of your mind and body — taking your playing to new levels that you had previously only dreamed of.
