FROM MARTIN:

The Martin 000-42 is a trusted blend of tone and craftsmanship, designed for players who value exceptional sound and stunning visual details. Its Auditorium body size offers a balanced tone across all six strings, with deep bass, rich overtones, and clear trebles that suit any playing style. Handcrafted with a solid spruce top and solid East Indian rosewood back and sides, the 000-42 produces a resonant, warm voice. The gloss genuine mahogany neck, featuring a Golden Era (GE) Modified Low Oval profile, high-performance taper, and 24.9" scale length, provides effortless playability and precision. It features exquisite abalone details, including snowflake inlays on the bound ebony fingerboard, a shimmering rosette, and pearl trim on the top that elegantly wraps around the fingerboard. Complete with antique white binding, an ebony bridge with bone pins, and gold open gear tuners, the 000-42 is a guitar you can trust to unleash the artist within.
